Research Focus
My work revolves around decrypting how soil microorganisms communicate through a wide variety of small molecules. This chemical language is essential for understanding their functional roles and ecological dynamics.
I utilize a 3D printed platform and high-throughput mass spectrometry to eavesdrop on interactions between pairs of bacteria. This allows me to infer the context-specific language of microbial communication for a large panel of soil bacteria.
